Our girls and boys are an extremely active Unit with just under 20 members. The group enjoy taking part in a great variety of activities: Kayaking, Archery, rifle shooting, Self-defence, open fire cooking, pioneering, and overnight hiking.
The 4 Explorer patrols are named after mythical creatures, and each engage in their activities during term time. Those on the cusp of the eighteenth birthday join our Minitours patrol in readiness for their move to Network. Our aim is to get as many through their platinum then diamond and finally King Scout awards.
We are busy presently organising our Summer Camp to the Netherlands where we have a busy week planned. The Explorers will be sleeping at night in hammocks. The weeks activities are a mix of some traditional Scouting activities and some adrenaline fuelled like a trip to a theme park.
